What ACN does with collecting Information?
ACN itself does not collect information about persons or entities that visit its websites. The only information collected is that which is input by the users who wants to join the membership of the Atlas Cargo Network requiring the input of data. We do not use cookies or any other type of software, file, or device to seek, locate, or gather any data from persons or entities that visit our websites
How does Atlas Cargo Network use the data it collects?
ACN provides services to its members. A large part of those services involve identifying its members to other freight forwarders that need partners, agents, assistance, etc., all over the world. Hence, the data that is provided to ACN is used to identify partners and agents among our membership for mutual business interests. If you are, or become, a member of Atlas Cargo Network, the information you input is contained on our member listing and is accessible by our subscribed member only. Its members are all ‘businesses’, as opposed to ‘individuals’, and by virtue of their input of their data, are authorizing Atlas Cargo Network to use the information for the purpose of assisting them in enhancing their business opportunities.
We are carefully handling your information. Security measures in place include the use of username and password protection for certain parts of the website, accessible only to members and Atlas Cargo Network. While we strive to keep the information that you supply (directly or indirectly) secure, please be aware that the internet is not a fully secure medium. Some of the services available through ACN are offered in conjunction with a third party. We cannot be responsible for the content of third-party websites.
Credit card payment gateway:
ACN via its agreement with its banking institution, has a credit card payment system accessible via a gateway provided by the bank. After you enter the gateway from our website to make a payment via credit card, no personal information you input is captured by ACN. ACN takes all the necessary steps to ensure that any data input is protected, and ACN will not release any information to any persons or entities beyond those required to facilitate the transaction(s).
Membership Termination:
Membership will be terminated in the case of the following:
- A members voluntarily withdraws
- If Membership Fees are not paid within the same month as the renewal date
- If the Death of a Member who is a sole proprietor.
- Abusive or Unethical remarked directed towards headquarters or other members
- Failure to respond to emails and phone calls from Atlas Cargo Network.
- Violation of ou code of ethics & Terms & Condition
Social Media Policy
- Member mus refrain from posing messages on social media that can potentially tarnish the reputation of Atlas Cargo Network, that made bad impression about ACN around the world
- Moreover, Member can never reveal network information on social media, not even after leaving the network
